Synopsis:
A
young boy and girl gets grounded after they were
caught breaking curfew. For the next few days, they find ways to sneak
out the
house to go on different adventures around town. Every time they get
out, they run into trouble or solve a crime.

Screenwriter (Kuma's Kitchen) accepted proposal for 'Grounded'.
Producer sent story outline and screenwriter expressed interest in
project. Deal Memo was drafted and accepted by Producer. Writer
produces a fresh script in 14 days
Development Phase starts.
08/08/08:
Signed
agreement with Executive Producer (EP) to fund film
production slated to shoot in early 2009 for December release.
08/24/08:
Submitted Investor's Proposal and One-Sheet to EP for Fashion
shows in Las Vegas.

Group Call Backs: Groups, Notes
You will be reading in groups of 11. Alternates should be there if
needed. We will be taping all 5 groups. The best group will have a read
with an audience on a later date.

This is technically a Call Back. NOT a table read. This callback will
require you to read the entire script and may last for up to 4 hours
long. We will provide water and snacks. This may seem different from
what you are use to but this is how I work.
You can be one of two people. (1) is you’re
the few that are selected to be in the 5 groups. Each wit h 11 members.
Each group will read the script together and will require that you
interact/improvise with the other actor(s) in the scenes you read.
PLEASE rehears your lines at home before you come to the call back. We
will expect you to have already rehears your lines in the ENTIRE
script. You don’t have to memorize the script but you must know how you
are going to deliver and act your lines and hold your script at the
same time if not memorized.
We only have up to 4 hours each group. If you don’t show up or on time,
you may lose your spot in the callback read with your group. This means
an Alternate will be called to fill in for you and keep your spot. The
reason we allocated up to 4 hours each group is because each group will
get slight direction from the DIRECTOR and also allow for camera setup
time. This will be recorded.

please let the casting director know you are an Alternate.

The callbacks were very fun and helpful. I hope everyone will walk away
from this day with a special experience. I enjoyed having you all at
the readings. I will definately keep everyone updated on our
production's progress. After this point, please be patient to allow us
time for the casting process. I wish everyone the best and sincere
luck in their future Film/TV careers.
